Pupils’ Roles and Responsibilities

 

During the attachment period, pupils are expected to:

 

  • Report punctually for work every day;

  • Behave in a way that will uphold the name of the school;

  • Inform the liaison officer/supervisor and teacher-mentor should you fall ill and are unable to report for work

  • Dressed appropriately for work at all times; no shorts, no mini-shirts, no spaghetti strap t-shirts or revealing attire

  • Complete the work assigned to you to the best of your ability;

  • Participate whole-heartedly in the attachment programme activities;

  • Inform the liaison officer/supervisor promptly, should you be involved in any accident or sustain an injury;

  • Clarify your doubts and learn as much as possible about yourself and the world of work;

  • Observe other employees at work;

  • Discuss your work performance with your supervisors and teacher-mentor;

  • Reflect on the day’s experience and record it in the Pupil’s Reflection Journal (Online / Printed).
